Flight 20 (Formerly the 'Chichester Pilot')

Flight 20D (wheelhouse launch)

The Flight 20 is a wheelhouse, 6m (20') Inboard diesel motor launch, with a modern underwater (light dispacement) shape.

Dimensions: LOA(deck): 5.99m, Beam(hull): 2.32m, Draft: 0.53m. (Under 6m for mooring and Marina charges.)

Day cruiser....Fishing boat....Club committee boat.

Large safe, self draining, full width cockpit for entertaining or working with easy access to side decks and foredeck.

Enclosed wheelhouse/steering position with space for 2-3 people out of the weather! Good visibility through the large windows and access to the cockpit via a lockable door and access to a small cabin area with sea toilet and berth(s).

Inboard diesel motor(  Beta Marine ) of 25hp or 35hp, means; good fuel ecconomy and low noise at speeds up to approximately 14knots.

Servicing costs would be lower also.

Refuelling is required less often, and diesel fuel is usually availably next to the water. Use of outboard power often means carrying large quantities of petrol from inland fuel stations to the boat via car and tender

Inboard diesel engines are smaller, lighter, more efficient, quieter, smoother and cleaner than the ones we knew 20-30 years ago.

The low wash, modern, light displacement hull combined with modern compact diesel power, wide beam/wide waterplane also bring exceptional static stability.
